Hello and welcome!

After a successful 15-year career in corporate financial audit and risk management, I decided to make a deliberate leap of faith. I left the corporate world behind to pursue what had quietly become my true passion: community management.

My journey started when I bought my first condo. Like many homeowners, I knew very little about what an HOA actually did beyond cashing my monthly dues. But over time, our 1980s building started showing signs of neglect that were simply too big to ignore. Driven by a desire to understand why our community was slipping, I walked into my first board meeting.

I’ll admit, it was intimidating. I didn’t know the board members, the manager, or what to expect, and community communication was virtually non-existent. But the room welcomed me as “the first young and concerned attendee in a long while.” That single meeting sparked a six-year journey. I joined the board and eventually served as President—all while working my corporate job full-time.

Leading that community through a complete turnaround is where I found my true calling. Seeing the tangible results of financial transparency, clear communication, and proactive maintenance was incredibly fulfilling. I realized that other communities needed this exact mix of corporate financial discipline and real-world board experience.

That’s why I founded Maudern Management.
